Scope
This standard specifies the hygienic requirements and inspection methods for dried sea shellfish products. This standard applies to wild or artificially cultured shellfish such as scallops, mussels, razor clams, variegated clams, meretrix meretrix and conch shellfish, which are washed, cooked, fleshed, and dried in the sun.
