Scope

This standard specifies the diagnostic criteria and treatment principles for external radiation-induced bone injury. This standard is applicable to radiation workers (including emergency personnel) with bone injuries caused by occupational exposure. Bone injuries after non-occupational exposure can also be diagnosed and treated with reference to this standard.
