Scope

This standard specifies the test devices, measurement procedures, other alternative measurement methods and measurement reports for the determination of the maximum explosion pressure and maximum pressure rise rate of combustible dust clouds. This standard applies to general industrial dust. This standard does not apply to explosives or substances with explosive properties.
