- This standard specifies the benchmark method of cement chemical analysis method and the substitute method which is considered to give equivalent results under certain conditions. In case of dispute, the benchmark law shall prevail. This standard applies to Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, pozzolanic Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement, composite Portland cement and the clinker and suitable materials for the preparation of the above cements.
