Scope

This standard specifies the maximum allowable concentration of nickel and its inorganic compounds in the workshop air and the monitoring and testing methods. This standard applies to the mining, beneficiation and smelting of nickel ore, as well as various operations in the production and use of nickel and its inorganic compounds. Not suitable for work in contact with carbon-based nickel.
