Scope

This part of ISO 7971 specifies a routine method for the determination of bulk density, called "mass per hectolitre", of cereals (wheat, barley, oats and rye), utilizing a 1 litre measuring container. NOTES 1 The reference method for determination of bulk density, called "mass per hectolitre", is given in ISO 7971 (see ref-erence [1]). 2 Several other routine methods are used in different countries.
