Scope

This standard specifies the separation and determination of ethylene dichloride in the air of workshops by using Apison L-column gas chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of the concentration of 1,1-dichloroethane and 1,2-dichloroethane in the air of polyvinyl chloride and ethylene oxide production workshops and plastic product processing workshops where dichloroethane is used as a solvent.
