- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of sodium lauryl sulfate. This standard applies to lauryl alcohol obtained by hydrogenation of coconut oil, sodium lauryl sulfate obtained by sulfur trioxide or chlorosulfonic acid sulfation, and neutralization, including powder (needle) and liquid products.
