- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for determining the content of chelating agents in detergents. The content of chelating agents should not exceed 2% (m/m). This method is applicable to the determination of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and its salts in detergents. The applicability of this method should be confirmed prior to the determination of other chelating agents, or the determination of EDTA in the presence of other chelating agents.
