Scope

This standard specifies the general technical conditions to be observed in the planning, construction, operation and management of cogeneration systems and the basic requirements for the design and operation of thermal power plants and heating networks in the system. This standard is applicable to cogeneration systems using steam turbines as heat sources, other types of cogeneration systems can be implemented as a reference.
