- This standard specifies the method for determining the viscosity of adhesives using a rotational viscometer and a viscosity cup. This standard rotational viscometer method is applicable to the viscosity determination of adhesives with Newtonian fluid or approximate Newtonian fluid characteristics. The viscosity cup method in this standard is applicable to the determination of the viscosity of the adhesive within 30-100s of the outflow time of the 50mL sample.
