Scope: This standard specifies the measurement method and calculation procedure for calibrating the volume of vertical cylindrical metal oil tanks with a photoelectric distance meter inside the tank. This standard applies to vertical cylindrical metal oil tanks with a diameter of more than 5m. This standard does not apply to vertical cylindrical metal oil tanks with an inclination of more than 3% or a diameter change of more than 1% on the horizontal circumference at any height.
