Scope

This standard specifies the gravimetric method for the determination of total suspended particulate matter. This standard is suitable for the determination of total suspended particulate matter in the air with a large flow or medium flow total suspended particulate matter sampler (sampler for short). The detection limit of the method was 0.001mg/m³. This method is not applicable when the content of total suspended particulate matter is too high or when sampling in foggy days makes the membrane resistance greater than 10kPa.
