Scope
This standard specifies the environmental test methods for infrared detectors. The test methods described in this standard are test methods for artificial environments. This standard applies to various environmental tests of non-alarm infrared detectors. When adopting this standard, the relevant specifications should be based on the environmental conditions and structural characteristics that the infrared detector may encounter, and after comprehensive analysis from the aspects of test technology and economy, the test methods, severity and test sequence to be used should be stipulated. This standard is generally used for test samples that can reach a stable temperature during the conditional test—that is, non-heat-dissipating samples.
