- Scope
- This standard stipulates the maximum allowable discharge concentration of caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride industrial water pollutants and the maximum allowable discharge per ton of product according to the production process and the destination of wastewater discharge. This standard applies to the caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride industry (including the mercury electrolysis method, diaphragm electrolysis method and ion exchange membrane electrolysis method to produce liquid caustic soda, solid caustic soda and chlorine hydrogen treatment process using salt as raw material, as well as the production of hydrogen, chlorine, ethylene, Carbide as raw material such as polyvinyl chloride) enterprise emission management, as well as construction project environmental impact assessment, design, completion acceptance and emission management after completion. This standard does not apply to caustic soda.
