Scope

This standard specifies the diethylamine copper acetate spectrophotometric method for the determination of carbon disulfide in industrial wastewater. This method is suitable for the determination of carbon disulfide in wastewater discharged from industries such as rubber, chemical fiber, and chemical raw materials. Measuring range: when sampling 100m/L and using 1cm cuvette, the measuring range is 0.045～1.46mg/L. Interference and Elimination: Use the aeration method to separate carbon disulfide from the water sample. If there is hydrogen sulfide in the water sample, it can be absorbed by lead acetate solution to remove the interference.
