Scope
This Recommended Practice identifies and classifies the various types of tank which will be used in the highway transportation of unleaded gasoline. It establishes the special loading and unloading procedures that must be followed by the drovers of these vehicles to prevent any contamination of unleaded gasoline. Special driver training is also recommended to insure that the driver understands his responsibility in the distribution of this product and is familiar with the required special handling procedures. These practices are intended to apply to proprietary@ common and contract carrier fleet operations. PURPOSE The procedures in this Recommended Practice are a part of a quality control program to prevent contamination of unleaded gasoline with leaded gasoline.
