- This standard specifies the inspection categories, inspection methods, steps, evaluation methods and evaluation reports during the safety assessment operation of metal structures of quayside bridge cranes (hereinafter referred to as "quayside bridges"). This standard is applicable to the safety assessment of the metal structure of the quay crane; the safety assessment of the mechanism, hydraulic system, and electrical system is not included in this standard. This standard does not apply to quay cranes used under the following conditions: ——flammable, explosive and combustible gas environments; ——toxic gas environments; ——nuclear radiation environments.
