Scope: This document specifies the classification and coding, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation, and storage of industrial sodium silicate. This document applies to industrial solid sodium silicate and industrial liquid sodium silicate. Note: Liquid sodium silicate is mainly used in chemical raw materials, fillers, binders, detergents, additives, preservatives, coating agents, curing agents, flame retardants, etc. Solid sodium silicate is mainly used to manufacture liquid sodium silicate.
