Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of comprehensive sewage discharge standards, water pollutant discharge control requirements, water pollutant sampling and monitoring requirements and implementation and supervision. This standard applies to the discharge management of water pollutants discharged into receiving water bodies by all drainage units except rural domestic drainage less than 500m3/d within the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, as well as the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, issuance of pollution discharge licenses, and water environment protection pollution Design of prevention and control facilities, completion acceptance and emission management after commissioning, etc. This standard applies to the discharge of water pollutants permitted by law, the location selection of new pollution sources and the management of existing sources in special protection areas, in accordance with the "Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China" 》 and other relevant laws, regulations and rules shall be implemented. After the promulgation of this standard, if part or all of the newly revised or revised national water pollutant discharge standards are stricter than the pollutant control limits of this standard, the corresponding water pollutant discharge limits shall be strictly enforced. If the relevant requirements of local, industry-type, and basin-type emission standards are stricter than this standard, the requirements of local, industry-type, and basin-type emission standards shall be implemented.
