This standard specifies the test conditions, test methods and results judgment and processing for using infrared imagers to detect gas leaks from sulfur hexafluoride electrical equipment. This standard applies to electrical equipment of all voltage levels using sulfur hexafluoride as the insulating medium, including combined electrical appliances, bushings, circuit breakers, current transformers and transformers, etc.
