Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of free glycerol and total glycerol in biodiesel (BD100) using GC-MS. This standard is applicable to the determination of free glycerol and total glycerol content in biodiesel (BD100). The detection range of free glycerol is 0.001% to 0.1% (mass fraction), and the detection range of total glycerol is 0.001% to 0.5% (mass fraction).
