Scope

This standard specifies the technology, method and content of magnetic detection of scale accumulation in metal pipes in service. This standard is applicable to the detection of scale accumulation in non-magnetic stainless steel pipes in service, especially in austenitic stainless steel pipes of power plant boilers.
