- This document specifies the requirements and test methods for loss of resistance syringes (LOR syringes) for axonal applications. This document applies to resistance-losing syringes used in epidural anesthesia puncture techniques. This document does not cover the performance of LOR syringes used for lumbar anesthetic liquid injection. Note: Unlike the syringes specified in GB 15810 and YY/T 0909-2013, the syringes specified in this standard cannot be used for injection of medicinal liquids.
