BS ISO 11438-8:1993 Ferronickel. Determination of trace-element content by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometric method - Determination of indium content
What is ISO 11438-8 – Ferronickel about?
ISO 11438-8 is an international standard and a part of the ISO 11438 series that discusses the determination of indium content for ferronickel. The ferronickel is used directly for making stainless steel and other ferrous alloys.
ISO 11438-8 specifies an electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of indium in the range of 0,5 g/t to 2,5 g/t in ferronickel, according to the principle of standard additions. The general requirements concerning the apparatus, sampling, dissolution of the test sample, procedure, calculation and test report are given in ISO 11438-1 .
