Scope

This document stipulates the terms and definitions, process requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of automobile electric power steering system remanufacturing. This document applies to automobile electric power steering systems (hereinafter referred to as steering systems). Its forms include remanufacturing of column-assisted type (C-EPS), pinion-assisted type (P-EPS), rack-assisted type (R-EPS) and recirculating ball-assisted type (X-EPS).
