This standard specifies the detection method for the determination of nickel, antimony and tellurium content in cosmetics by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of nickel, antimony and tellurium content in cosmetics. The detection limit of this standard method is 0.06 mg/kg for nickel, 0.15 mg/kg for antimony and 0.3 mg/kg for tellurium. The quantitative limit of this standard method: nickel is 0.2 mg/kg, antimony is 0.50 mg/kg, tellurium is 1.0 mg/kg.
