- This document describes a method for measuring the sound pressure level of a power capacitor unit and using it to determine the sound power level of a power capacitor unit. This document applies to parallel capacitor units, AC filter capacitor units, and DC filter capacitor units for AC power systems with nominal voltages of 1000V and above and frequencies of 50Hz or 60Hz. Other power capacitor units are implemented accordingly. This document does not apply to capacitors whose body height is less than 0.8m.
