Scope
This draft mainly specifies the detection method for neutralizing antibodies to the new coronavirus in animals. The glycoprotein gene G of the VSV genome is replaced with the spike protein gene S gene of 2019-nCov, and then the enhanced green fluorescent protein gene EGFP is inserted to construct a mosaic that expresses EGFP. Compatible recombinant virus VSVΔG-nCoVS-EGFP, this recombinant virus has the S protein of 2019-nCov, which can be recognized by 2019-nCov positive serum and neutralized to block infection.
