Form: This specification covers an aluminium alloy in the form ofdie forgings and hand forgings. Application: Primarily for parts to be machined prior to final heat treatment requiring a combination of dimensional stability and accentuation of ultrasonic response@ and to achieve maximum mechanical properties with high resistance to stress-corrosion cracking after solution and precipitation heat treatment to T73 temper.
