Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for the materials, design, manufacture and testing of industrial safety belts and harnesses, and ancillary equipment including energy absorbers and lanyards. Appendices include performance test for the various assemblies together with methods of test of breaking loads of material, and resistance of material to sunlight and artificial light.
