- This standard specifies the phased array cylindrical ultrasonic imaging detection and quality assessment methods for non-destructive testing of bolts. This standard applies to carbon steel and low alloy steel in-service bolts, double-headed studs, hexagonal head bolts, and studs with internal hexagons whose outer diameter is not less than 10mm and not more than 100mm, and the length is not more than 1000mm. Detection of bolts smaller than the screw diameter. Other types of bolt detection methods can be implemented as a reference.
