Scope

This standard specifies a test method for indirect determination of the mass fraction of the main component of high-boiling polyols using gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to polyols with higher boiling points under normal pressure, which need to be converted into esterified products with lower boiling points using acetic anhydride and which can be separated by gas chromatography columns.
