Scope

What is BS EN 2591-6307 -   Method for assessing salt mist on optical elements about?    BS EN 2591 is a European standard that discusses the elements of the electrical and optical connection.   BS EN 2591-6307 specifies a method of assessing the effects of a controlled salt laden atmosphere on optical connection elements (including permanent connections) and fibre optic couplers.   BS EN 2591-6307 shall be used together with EN 2591-100.
