This document specifies the requirements and test methods for polyurethane foam dressings. This document applies to sterile supplied dressings with a liquid-absorbent layer of polyurethane foam. This document does not apply to polyurethane foam dressings and polyurethane for negative pressure drainage containing bacteriostatic agents such as silver, active ingredients or substances that can release active substances/energy, human/animal derived materials, tissue engineering materials, degradable materials, etc. Foam dressing (sponge).
