- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of silicone oil for disposable syringes (hereinafter referred to as: silicone oil for syringes). This standard applies to dimethyl silicone oil and amino-containing silicone oil for syringe siliconization. This standard does not apply to solvent-free silicone oil and alcohol-soluble silicone oil.
