- This standard specifies the basic principles, waste heat resource classification and index calculation, engineering design and operation management of industrial low-grade waste heat centralized heating systems (hereinafter referred to as "waste heat heating systems"). This standard applies to new construction or renovation and expansion projects of civil building central heating systems that use industrial low-grade waste heat (hereinafter referred to as "waste heat") as the heat source.
