Scope

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of fully synthetic cutting fluids for ferrous metals formulated with a variety of water-soluble additives and water. This document applies to fully synthetic cutting fluids (hereinafter referred to as cutting fluids) for ferrous metal cutting, whose concentrate composition is L-MAG.
