- This standard specifies the coding principles, code structure and codes of ports and related location codes of the People's Republic of China. This standard does not include ports and related location codes in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province. This standard applies to data exchange and information processing involved in international trade activities. Note: The port and related location codes of the People's Republic of China provided by this standard are part of the United Nations port and related location code system (UN/VLOCODE).
