Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and testing methods of sand equivalent instruments. This standard is applicable to the measurement performance testing of sand equivalent meters designed and produced according to JTG E42-2005. The measurement performance testing of other instruments with similar structure or purpose may refer to this standard.
