- Scope
- This specification specifies the limits and measurement methods for radiated emissions of magnetic and electric fields from electric vehicles in the frequency range 9kHz to 30MHz, as well as the limits and measurement methods for conducted emissions from 9kHz to 30MHz. This specification applies to electric vehicles such as pure electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, extended-range electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles. The conducted emission measurement in this specification only applies to on-board battery charging systems, whose switching frequency should be above 9kHz, and energy is transmitted through metal conductors. The technical requirements for conducted emission only apply during the charging process of the battery through the AC power line.
