This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection items and result determinations, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyurethane composite shoe soles. This document applies to composite soles made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), rubber and other materials as the shell, with polyurethane (PU) material embedded in it. This document does not apply to polyurethane composite soles for occupational, safety and protective footwear.
