Scope

This document specifies a method for the determination of the reaction activation energy Ea in the Arrhenius equation for polymer decomposition reactions using the thermogravimetric method. This method is only applicable to reactions of a single mechanism. For multi-step reactions, the reaction mechanism of each step is unique.
