- This standard specifies naphthalene, acenaphthylene, acenaphthene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, benzo(a)anthracene, chrysene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, benzene in Chinese herbal medicines. Gas chromatography mass spectrometry for determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons including (a)pyrene, indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene, dibenzo(a,h)anthracene and benzo(g,h,i)perylene Law. This standard is applicable to the detection of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in Chinese herbal medicines such as astragalus, white peony root, dendrobium, mulberry bark, senna, chrysanthemum, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, bitter almond, poria and so on.
