Scope: This document specifies the requirements for size parameters, transmission characteristics, mechanical properties and environmental performance of bending loss-insensitive single-mode optical fibers (hereinafter referred to as Class B6 single-mode optical fibers) used in communication optical cables and other information transmission equipment, and describes the corresponding tests methods and numerical rounding rules. This document applies to the design, development, production and testing of category B6 single-mode optical fiber.
