- Scope
- This standard specifies a gas chromatographic method for the determination of yellow phosphorus in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of yellow phosphorus in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The sampling volume is 250ml. When analyzed with a nitrogen phosphorus detector (NPD), the detection limit of this standard is 0.04 μg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.16 μg/L; when analyzed with a flame photometric detector (FPD), the detection limit of this standard is 0.04 μg/L. The detection limit of the method is 0.1μg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.4μg/L.
