This document specifies the terms and definitions, structure and materials, working conditions, technical requirements, appearance and markings, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation applicable to motor control valves for gas meters (referred to as control valves). This document applies to motor control valves used in gas meters with a maximum working pressure not exceeding 50kPa and a maximum flow rate not exceeding 160m3/h.
