This document specifies the requirements for X-ray (film) photographic detection of defects in straight and spiral welds of automatic fusion arc welded steel pipes. This document also applies to the testing of circular hollow profiles. Note 1: Digital radiography is used as an alternative to this test method, see ISO 10893-7. Note 2: The radiographic inspection of butt welds can be carried out by reference.
