- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of needle-punched carpet products. This standard is applicable to needles made of polypropylene, polyester and other synthetic short fibers as raw materials, which are made by piercing the fiber net with needles on the needle loom to entangle the fibers, and then coating the back of the blanket with an adhesive and then heating and solidifying. Needle-punched carpets and needle-punched carpets made of other short fibers can also be used as a reference.
