- This standard stipulates the classification, code name, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage marks and quality certificates of steel wires for gas shielded welding (welding wires for short). This standard is applicable to low carbon steel, low alloy steel and alloy steel cold drawn steel wire for gas shielded welding (CO2, CO2+O2, CO2+Ar).
